What the database holds right now
Last refreshed
Counted straight out of the production database on the date above — 304 rows for painters in Denmark, 175 of them carrying a rating. We do not estimate these, and we do not round them up.
Who buys a list of painters
Paint brands, merchants and lead marketplaces buy this file. All three work it by phone.
A painter is a repeat buyer. Paint, filler, tape and covers go out the door every week. Whoever holds that account tends to hold it for years.
Painting is an easy trade to start. A van, a ladder and a name will do it. Which is why 114 of these 304 have no website.
Property managers and housing groups buy this list too. A block of flats needs repainting on a cycle, and one of those contracts beats twenty kitchens.
Look at the email column first. 10 addresses in 304 rows is 3%. An email sequence here reaches almost nobody, and we would rather tell you now than sell you a plan that fails.
One thing to know before you buy. Only 3% of these rows carry an e-mail, and we would rather print that than sell you a fantasy. This is a call list. The 291 phone numbers are the product.
50 of the 304, with nothing hidden
Sorted by review count. Even at the top of this file the numbers are modest, which tells you something about how painters in Denmark get their work. 8 of these 50 have no website at all, and they are the ones to look at first. No signup and no e-mail wall — the addresses and phone numbers themselves arrive in your export, and that part is the product.

- Pick the trade Type it and take the match. One trade or twenty, on every plan.
- Pick the place Country, region, municipality, city. No plan gates the geography.

- Filter to the ones worth calling Has email, has phone, has a website, has a contact page. Combine them freely.

Where they are
Denmark splits into regions, and so does the file. Pick one region and you cut 304 rows down to a list you can work through in a week.
| Region | Records | With email | No website | Share |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Capital Region | 142 | 10 | 57 | 47% |
| South Denmark | 94 | 0 | 35 | 31% |
| Central Jutland | 67 | 0 | 21 | 22% |
The 3 regions above hold 303 of the 304 records. The rest sit in smaller regions you can still filter to inside the app.
The 114 with no website are the ones to call first
38% of painters in Denmark run on a Maps listing and nothing else. None of that is a gap in our data. It is the pitch.
A business with no website has told you three things at once. It has no agency. It has no marketing budget line to defend. And whoever you reach owns the decision, because there is nobody else to ask.
Filter the file to that group and you cut 304 rows to 114. That leaves 190 who already bought a site from somebody. Every rival list sells you both groups mixed together.
In the app this is one switch. Open the Painter category, pick Denmark, tick No website, and export. The count in the corner updates before you press anything.
38% run on a Maps pin and a mobile number. For a painter that works. The next job comes out of the last one.
What they miss is the buyer who needs three written quotes. A landlord will not hire from a pin, and a facilities manager cannot raise an order against one.
That group is also the easiest group to reach. Nobody has sold them anything yet, so nobody has taught them to say no.
One more number worth holding. Only 65% of these painters have claimed their listing. 107 of them have never logged in at all, which means anyone can suggest an edit to their hours and they will not see it. Pair that with the 114 with no site and you have the sharpest list in the file.
Denmark is the strict one, and it is not close
The four Nordic countries do not share one rule on business e-mail. They disagree with each other, and Denmark is a case in point.
Danish marketing law bars unsolicited marketing e-mail to anyone without consent first. The word in the statute is "anyone". The Consumer Ombudsman says in its own guidance that this covers companies and public bodies, not just consumers.
The same guidance says the mailbox makes no difference. A general box like info@firma.dk is covered. So is a main box, and so is a named director. All of them need consent first.
So Denmark is the one Nordic market where a cold e-mail campaign is the wrong plan. Use this file for the phone, the door, and the research before a call. The e-mail column is for people who already said yes.
Whichever country you work, we keep a suppression list per account. Anyone who asks you to stop goes in it. The app then blocks that domain on every future export. None of this is legal advice. Read our full position on data and the law and take your own.
Two practical notes for working Denmark
Danish businesses answer English fine. A Danish first line still reads as effort rather than as a blast.
Denmark starts early and finishes early. Four in the afternoon is late; eight in the morning is not.
Company details are public here. CVR is the Danish Central Business Register. Check a shortlist against it before you pitch anything expensive.
A sequence that works on painters
Getting the list is the easy half. This is the sequence these lists are built for, with the e-mail steps taken out. Danish law does not allow those without consent first. You run it in your own tool — we do not send anything.
-
Call at 6:30am or after 4pm. Painters start early and stop early.
Ask one question. "Who buys your paint?" It opens every other conversation you want to have.
96% of this file has a number and 3% has an email. The phone is not one channel here. It is the campaign.
-
Send two lines the day after the call.
Your name, the reason, and a way out. "Reply STOP and I am gone."
A painter has wet hands and a phone in the van. A text waits for the break. Email waits forever.
-
Be at the trade counter between 6:30 and 8am.
Buying paint is the one thing every name on this list does in person.
Take the file with you, sorted by postcode, and work the queue.
The door beats the inbox in this trade, and it is not close. One morning at the counter is worth a month of sending.
-
Last call. Tell them you are closing the file.
Ask for a season, not a yes. Outside work stops when the weather turns, and that is when they have time for you.
The breakup works on the phone as well as in an inbox. Say you are stopping, and mean it.
-
Only after they have said yes.
Danish law asks for consent before any unsolicited marketing e-mail. Once someone agrees on a call, write to confirm it. The thread starts there.
The e-mail steps this sequence carries in other markets are gone here. The law is different in Denmark, so the sequence should be too.
- It exports the whole result Every row the filter matched, not the page you happen to be looking at.
- CSV or XLSX Tab-separated UTF-8, or typed Excel columns. One file per job.
- 34 groups, 64 columns The same 64 on every plan. Nothing is held back for a higher tier.
- Three presets Contact only, full record, or the outreach set. Or tick your own.
- The cost, before you commit One credit per place, once per 30 days. Re-downloading is free.
What lands in your export, and why the website column matters most here
Sixty-four columns per row, on every plan. Everything on this page comes out of six of them.
The file arrives as CSV or XLSX. One row per business, 304 rows for this list, and no row limit on any plan. Here is how full each column actually is for these painters, so you can plan the campaign before you pay for it.
- Name, address, postcode, region and coordinates — all 304 rows
- Phone — 291 rows, 96% of the file
- Email, with the page we found it on — 10 rows, 3%
- Website — 190 rows, and 114 flagged as having none
- Rating and review count — 175 rows carry a rating, averaging 4.54
- Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn — 6, 3 and 6 rows
- Owner has claimed the listing — 197 rows, 65%
- Opening hours, price level, the Maps category tree, first seen and last seen
This list is 304 rows. Every one of them fits inside a single month on the €49 Starter plan, which carries 10,000 lead credits.
Your export stays yours. Cancel tomorrow and the file you already downloaded is still on your machine and still in your CRM. We do not delete customer exports, and we will not start.
Denmark painters: the questions worth asking first
Only 10 painters have an email. Is the data broken?
No. Which is what the listings hold, and we publish what we find.
Painters put a mobile number on the van and leave it there. Any list that offers you an email for every painter built those addresses from a pattern.
How do I run outreach with no email?
Phone, text and the trade counter. The export gives you the number, a flag for whether it reaches a mobile, the address and the opening hours.
Enough to build a call sheet and a route. It is slower than email. It also answers.
Which painters should I call first?
The 114 with no website, then the 129 with no rating at all.
Both groups are early. Nobody has a contract with them and nobody is defending the account.
How current is the 304?
The count on this page comes out of the live database, and the date beside it is the last time we saw these rows on Maps.
We re-crawl Denmark on a rolling schedule. A business that closes drops out, and a new one appears, without you doing anything. Pull the list again in a month and the difference is the month's new openings.
Can I legally cold-email this list in Denmark?
No. We would rather say so here than sell you a list on a false promise. Danish law asks for consent before any unsolicited marketing e-mail. That covers companies. It covers general mailboxes like info@firma.dk too.
The file is still the right one for Denmark. It is a call list and a research list. 291 of these 304 rows carry a phone number. That is the channel Danish law leaves open. This is not legal advice, so check your own position first.
What does the Denmark painter list cost?
