What we hold in Denmark

3,927 businesses, pulled from Google Maps and counted on 26 July 2026. Here is the shape of the file before you pay for any of it.

Denmark sits third of the four by record count. Sweden is the one above it.

The file runs from carpenters at the top down to travel agencies at the bottom.

The headline is the website gap. 1,094 of these firms run on a Maps listing and nothing else.

That is 28% of the whole country file. For a web agency it is the entire pitch list.

The email side reads 17%. So 670 of the 3,927 give you an address to write to.

The rest give you a phone number and a door. Both still work, and both cost more time.

The biggest single trade here is carpenters, at 379 records. The widest website gap sits with accountants, where 44% have no site.

Every number on this page comes out of the live database. We do not round them up and we do not model them.

A count you cannot check is a count you should not trust. So we print ours next to the date we took it.

  2. CSV or XLSX Tab-separated UTF-8, or typed Excel columns. One file per job.
  3. 34 groups, 64 columns The same 64 on every plan. Nothing is held back for a higher tier.
  4. Three presets Contact only, full record, or the outreach set. Or tick your own.

Every Danish trade we hold

All 15 of them, biggest first. Record count, then how many carry an email, then how many have no website.

  • Carpenters — 379 of them, 29 with an email, and 135 with no site at all
  • Hair salons — 373 of them, 40 with an email, and 79 with no site at all
  • Physiotherapists — 357 of them, 53 with an email, and 137 with no site at all
  • Painters — 304 of them, 10 with an email, and 114 with no site at all
  • Dentists — 294 of them, 92 with an email, and 70 with no site at all
  • Electricians — 291 of them, 70 with an email, and 61 with no site at all
  • Photographers — 262 of them, 0 with an email, and 69 with no site at all
  • Law firms — 244 of them, 46 with an email, and 80 with no site at all
  • Driving schools — 235 of them, 0 with an email, and 51 with no site at all
  • Opticians — 229 of them, 123 with an email, and 17 with no site at all
  • Accountants — 224 of them, 38 with an email, and 98 with no site at all
  • Beauty salons — 198 of them, 53 with an email, and 35 with no site at all
  • Estate agencies — 185 of them, 65 with an email, and 66 with no site at all
  • Roofing contractors — 180 of them, 48 with an email, and 37 with no site at all
  • Travel agencies — 172 of them, 3 with an email, and 45 with no site at all

Read the third number first. It is the one that tells you who has nobody selling to them yet.

A firm with no site has no agency, no retainer and no marketing manager to get past.

The second number tells you how you can reach them. A low email count means a phone list, not a bad list.

The trades that are too thin to sell

We publish a trade page at 300 records. Below that the list is too small to be worth your money, so we say so.

4 of our 15 Danish trades clear that floor. 11 do not.

The largest of the thin ones is dentists, at 294 records. That is real data. It is not a list you can run a campaign on.

Here are the ones we cannot yet publish, with what we hold for each.

  • Dentists — 294
  • Electricians — 291
  • Photographers — 262
  • Law firms — 244
  • Driving schools — 235
  • Opticians — 229
  • Accountants — 224
  • Beauty salons — 198
  • Estate agencies — 185
  • Roofing contractors — 180
  • Travel agencies — 172

Most of those sit within a hundred records of the line, so a deeper crawl of Denmark moves several of them onto the published side.

You can still export any of these inside the app. There is no lock on a small category.

What we will not do is build a landing page that claims a national list and hands you a hundred rows.

Which is how a thin list gets sold twice. It is also how a search engine learns to skip a whole site.

If a trade on that list matters to you, tell us. We can push a deeper crawl at it.

Selling into Denmark

The list is the easy half. Here is what changes once you start writing to Danish owners.

Danish, and get to the point

Danes are the most direct writers in the Nordics. A soft opener reads as a waste of time.

Drop the flattery. Lead with the thing you noticed and the thing you can fix.

English is fine in Denmark and the reply will come back in good English.

Danish still lands better on a small firm. A tradesman with no website is not reading English marketing.

The register is called CVR

Denmark keeps its company data in the Central Business Register, known as CVR.

The Danish Business Authority runs it. Every firm carries a CVR number.

The public search at datacvr.virk.dk is free and covers active and closed firms.

Match a Maps listing to a CVR number and you have a lead you can invoice.

They start early and they leave

The Danish day runs from about eight to about four. At four they go home.

Nobody answers a work email at seven in the evening. Nobody thinks they should.

Send at half past seven in the morning. Your email sits at the top when the laptop opens.

July is a write-off. Aim for the second half of August.

What lands in the export

Sixty-four columns per row, on every plan, for every one of these 15 trades.

The file comes as CSV or XLSX. One row per business, with no row cap on any plan.

  • Name, street address, postcode, region and map coordinates
  • Phone, with a flag for the ones that reach a mobile
  • Email, plus the page we pulled it from, so you can check our working
  • Website, and a flag for the firms that have none
  • Rating, review count and whether the owner has claimed the listing
  • Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn where the listing carries them
  • Opening hours, price band and the full Maps category tree
  • First seen and last seen, so you know how old a row is

Your file stays yours. Cancel next week and the export on your laptop still works.

We do not delete customer exports. See what each plan holds.

Every plan reaches every country and every filter. There is no upgrade wall on geography.

Questions about the Danish data

How many businesses do you hold in Denmark?

3,927 open businesses across 15 trades, counted on 26 July 2026.

Closed listings drop out on the next crawl, so the number moves. We stamp every page with the date we took it.

Why do only 17% have an email?

An email lives on a website contact page. A firm with no site has no page for us to read.

1,094 of these 3,927 have no site. That alone caps how high the email share can go. We cover the full effect in our study of the email gap.

Can I filter to one region of Denmark?

Yes. Region, city and postcode filters are on every plan, including the trial.

Most buyers take one region first, run a week of outreach, then buy the rest. It is a cheaper way to test a message.

Is cold outreach to these firms legal?

Every field here is public business data, put up by the business on its own listing.

Under GDPR that is legitimate interest for B2B contact, and your first message must offer an opt-out. We hold a suppression list per account. Read our full position.

What does it cost to pull this list?

Plans open at €49 a month for 10,000 lead credits. Every plan searches every country we hold.

The trial runs 14 days and gives you 100 leads with no card. Enough to test one town.
