What Outscraper is good at
Outscraper is a serious tool with real engineering behind it. Here is the fair version, before we argue with any of it.
Outscraper reaches far past Maps. Reviews, emails, images, news, shopping, Amazon, Google Play and Trustpilot each have their own scraper. We have one source: Google Maps.
Their API is the real product. The docs are good and developers rate them. To wire scraping into your own app, they are a strong pick.
They charge as you go, with no monthly fee at all. The first 500 places in a 30-day window cost nothing.
Above that they charge $3 per 1,000 records. Past 100,000 records the rate drops to $1 per 1,000. At high volume that is cheap.
Prepaid credits do not expire. You can also run postpaid against a card. Both are grown-up billing models.
Output comes back as CSV, Excel or JSON. Nothing exotic there, which is the point of it.
If you pull a million rows a month and code against an API, Outscraper wins on price. We are not going to pretend otherwise.

Outscraper sells you records. We sell you a file. That sounds like a small gap. It changes every habit around it.
Credit maths before every job
With Outscraper you price the job before you run it. The first 500 places are free. After that it is $3 per 1,000 records.
So 10,000 places works out at $28.50 on their published rate. That sum is fine once.
It is less fine on a Tuesday afternoon, for the twelfth time. Small sums have a way of turning into small hesitations.
A flat plan takes the sum away. You hold credits. You spend them. The bill does not move all month.
The queue
Outscraper queues your task and works through it. You watch a status go from queued to running to done. Big jobs can run for hours.
Ours is a query against an index we already hold. The count updates as you tick filters. Press export and the file lands.
That is the whole trade, stated plainly. They scrape on demand and cover the world. We hold a Nordic index and hand it straight over.

Questions people ask before they move
Should I stay with Outscraper?
Yes, if you live in their API or need sources beyond Maps. Amazon, Trustpilot and reviews are real reasons to stay.
Yes too if your volume is huge. Past 100,000 records their $1 per 1,000 rate is hard to beat. We do not try to.
Is FindAndClose cheaper?
At small volume, no. Their first 500 places a month are free, and ours are not.
At steady weekly volume the flat plan tends to win, and the bill stops moving. Read what each tier holds and do your own sum.
Why does a live count matter so much?
Because it changes what you try. When a count is free, you test five filters before you spend a credit.
When every run has a price, you guess once and live with it. That is a worse way to build a list.
Do you have an API?
Yes, a REST API from the €99 tier, at 10 requests a second. Higher tiers run at 50 and 200.
Outscraper puts an API on every account, which is better for a small developer. We mark that as their win.
What about the columns?
We ship 64 columns on every plan, in a fixed order. Name, address, phone, email, website, rating, socials and more.

Can I keep my files if I stop paying?
Yes. Your export is yours to keep. We do not delete customer files, and cancelling does not touch them.
You lose the app and new searches. The work you already paid for stays where you put it.
