Who buys a list of plumbers

Three groups buy this list, and each one wants a different slice of it.

Web and SEO agencies want the ones with no website. That is the shortest pitch in the trade. You found them on Maps, so their customers cannot.

Trade suppliers and tool brands want the whole file, sorted by review count. A plumber with 300 reviews runs vans and buys in bulk. A plumber with four reviews is one person and a Transit.

Software sellers — job scheduling, invoicing, payments — want the ones with a website but no booking form. That gap is visible in the export and it is the reason they will take your call.

Whichever group you are, filter first and send second. A list of 605 sent one generic email is a spam complaint. The same list cut into three and sent three different messages is a pipeline.

One thing to know before you buy. 40% of these rows carry an e-mail, which is high for a local trade. Email is a real channel here, not a fallback. Plan the campaign around it.

50 of the 605, with nothing hidden

Sorted by review count. Even at the top of this file the numbers are modest, which tells you something about how plumbers in Norway get their work. 34 of these 50 already carry an e-mail address, which is unusually good for a local trade. No signup and no e-mail wall — the addresses and phone numbers themselves arrive in your export, and that part is the product.

Where they are

Norway splits into regions, and so does the file. Pick one region and you cut 605 rows down to a list you can work through in a week.

The 9 regions above hold 598 of the 605 records. The rest sit in smaller regions you can still filter to inside the app.

Start with the 186 that have no website

31% of plumbers in Norway run on a Maps listing and nothing else. None of that is a gap in our data. It is the pitch.

A business with no website has told you three things at once. It has no agency. It has no marketing budget line to defend. And whoever you reach owns the decision, because there is nobody else to ask.

Filter the file to that group and you cut 605 rows to 186. That leaves 419 who already bought a site from somebody. Every rival list sells you both groups mixed together.

In the app this is one switch. Open the Plumber category, pick Norway, tick No website, and export. The count in the corner updates before you press anything.

Plumbers are the clearest case of this in any trade. The work comes from Maps, from word of mouth, and from the van. A website feels like a luxury until a rival outranks them on "emergency plumber" and takes the 2am jobs.

The 186 on this list have not made that call yet. Open with it.

One more number worth holding. Only 67% of these plumbers have claimed their listing. 200 of them have never logged in at all, which means anyone can suggest an edit to their hours and they will not see it. Pair that with the 186 with no site and you have the sharpest list in the file.

Norway draws the line at the address, not the business

The four Nordic countries do not share one rule on business e-mail. They disagree with each other, and Norway is a case in point.

Norwegian marketing law requires prior consent before you e-mail a natural person. A company is not a natural person, so a role address such as post@firma.no sits outside that rule.

The regulator reads that rule harder than most people expect. A named work address counts as a natural person. ola.nordmann@firma.no needs consent. It still needs consent when the company itself registered that address as its own contact.

So the practical rule in Norway is simple. Role addresses by e-mail, named people by phone. The phone column matters more here than anywhere else in the Nordics, and this file is where you get it.

Whichever country you work, we keep a suppression list per account. Anyone who asks you to stop goes in it. The app then blocks that domain on every future export. None of this is legal advice. Read our full position on data and the law and take your own.

Two practical notes for working Norway

Norwegian business people read English without effort. They reply to Norwegian far more often. Write the first line in Norwegian even if the rest is in English.

Norwegian working hours are early. Offices thin out from three, and a trade is on site by seven.

Company details are public here. The Brønnøysund Register Centre is the national register of Norwegian businesses. Check a shortlist against it before you pitch anything expensive.

A sequence that works on plumbers

Getting the list is the easy half. This is the sequence these lists are built for, written out in full so you can judge it before you sign up for anything. You run it in your own tool — we do not send anything.

  1. 1 Day 1 Email

Subject Oslo — you are on page two

Hi — I found you on Maps while I was looking at plumbers in Oslo.

You have good reviews and no website. Google ranks the listing. It cannot rank you for "emergency plumber" without a page to point at.

I build these for trades. Six pages, your reviews on the front, a call button that works on a phone. Two weeks, fixed price.

Want the price? Reply "yes" and I will send it. Reply "no" and I will not write again.

The opt-out belongs in the first message. It is the GDPR requirement, and it costs a reader nothing to use, which is the point. Send this to the role box, not to a named person. Norway treats a named work address as a person, and asks for consent first.

  2. 2 Day 3 Phone

Call between 7am and 8am, or after 5pm. A plumber on a job does not answer, and a plumber in a van does.

Ask one question: "Where do your jobs come from now?" Then stop talking.

99% of this file has a phone number. The call is the step most people skip, and it is the step that books the meeting.

  3. 3 Day 7 Email

    Subject The 2am jobs

Following up once. Emergency work is the money in plumbing. It is also the work that goes to whoever ranks first at 2am.

[Link to a page you actually built for a plumber, and the one number you can stand behind.]

    Worth ten minutes?

One proof point, one number, one question. No attachments — attachments in a cold email go to spam. Send this to the role box, not to a named person. Norway treats a named work address as a person, and asks for consent first.

  4. 4 Day 14 Email

    Subject Closing your file

Last one from me. I am closing your file today.

If the timing is wrong, say "later" and I will come back in six months. If it is a no, ignore this and you will not hear from me again.

The breakup email pulls more replies than the three before it. Say you are stopping, and mean it. Send this to the role box, not to a named person. Norway treats a named work address as a person, and asks for consent first.

  2. CSV or XLSX Tab-separated UTF-8, or typed Excel columns. One file per job.

What lands in your export

Sixty-four columns per row, on every plan. Everything on this page comes out of six of them.

The file arrives as CSV or XLSX. One row per business, 605 rows for this list, and no row limit on any plan. Here is how full each column actually is for these plumbers, so you can plan the campaign before you pay for it.

  • Name, address, postcode, region and coordinates — all 605 rows
  • Phone — 596 rows, 99% of the file
  • Email, with the page we found it on — 240 rows, 40%
  • Website — 419 rows, and 186 flagged as having none
  • Rating and review count — 436 rows carry a rating, averaging 4.36
  • Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn — 195, 146 and 67 rows
  • Owner has claimed the listing — 405 rows, 67%
  • Opening hours, price level, the Maps category tree, first seen and last seen

This list is 605 rows. Every one of them fits inside a single month on the €49 Starter plan, which carries 10,000 lead credits.

Questions about the Norway plumber file

Are these all working plumbers, or does the list include big firms?

Both, and you can tell them apart. Sort by review count and the top of the file is multi-van operations. The tail is one person with a phone.

Most agencies work the middle: 20 to 150 reviews. Big enough to have money, small enough that the owner still answers.

Can I get only the plumbers in one city?

Yes, and on every plan. Filter by region, by city, or draw a shape on the map and take everything inside it.

There is no upgrade wall on geography here. That is the thing most Maps tools charge you twice for.

How current is the 605?

The count on this page comes out of the live database, and the date beside it is the last time we saw these rows on Maps.

We re-crawl Norway on a rolling schedule. A business that closes drops out, and a new one appears, without you doing anything. Pull the list again in a month and the difference is the month's new openings.

Can I legally cold-email this list in Norway?

Role addresses, yes. Named ones, no, not without consent. Norwegian marketing law protects natural persons. The regulator counts a named work address as one, even when the company registered it itself.

So the phone column matters more here than the e-mail one. 596 of these rows carry a number. 240 carry an address. Call the named people and write to the role boxes. This is not legal advice, so check your own position first.
