Optometrist email list: the word that decides your search
Search "optometrist" on a Nordic map and you find optician shops. The optometrist works inside them. Start with the right word, then use the right file.
Covers Norway, Sweden, Denmark and FinlandOne country page live: opticians in SwedenA well-covered, staffed retail trade
Optician or optometrist — the word decides the search
Two words, one shop, and a real difference underneath. Start with the right one.
An optometrist tests eyes and writes the prescription. It is the clinical role.
A dispensing optician fits and sells the glasses. That is the retail role.
In most Nordic shops, both jobs sit under one roof. Both share one Maps listing.
On the map, the category is optician — optiker in Scandinavia. The optometrist works inside it.
So if you search for optometrist, the map hands you the optician shops. That is where the optometrist is.
We publish one country here already: opticians in Sweden. It holds the optometrist-staffed shops you are after. Scope, as ever: Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. For US or global lists, use a scraper like Outscraper.
- Pick the trade Type it and take the match. One trade or twenty, on every plan.
- Pick the place Country, county, municipality, city. No plan gates the geography.
- The count moves first The number updates before you spend anything. Looking is free.
- Filter to the ones worth calling Has email, has phone, has a website, has a contact page. Combine them freely.
- Contacts are masked until export You can see a row exists and judge it. The address itself is the product.
- Export what you are looking at The file is exactly this filter set, with nothing dropped in between.
A shop, not a clinic — retail hours and a staffed desk
Unlike a solo therapist, an optical shop keeps a counter and shop hours. That makes it easy to reach.
An optical shop trades like any retailer. It has opening hours and a front desk.
Someone staffs that desk all day. A call reaches a person, not a voicemail.
The shop wants to be found, so it publishes a phone, an email and a booking page.
That shows in the data. This is one of the best-covered trades we hold.
- In Sweden, 172 of 300 optician shops carry an email — 57%.
- 290 of the 300 list a phone number — 97%.
- Only 16 have no website — 5%.
- 271 have claimed their Maps listing — 90%.
Compare that to a solo trade, where half the file has no site. An optical shop is built to be contacted.
What the optician file shows across the Nordics
Counted from our database on 26 July 2026. Sweden earns a page; the other three sit close below the line.
Sweden is the deep file, and the only one over our 300-record floor.
- Sweden: 300 shops, a live page, 57% with an email.
- Norway: 271 shops. Under the floor, so no page yet.
- Denmark: 229 shops. Same floor, same wait.
- Finland: 226 shops — but the email column reads near zero.
The Finnish zero is a crawl hole, not a finding
The Finnish optician rows show almost no emails at all. We read that as a gap in our own crawl, not the truth about Finnish shops.
Our two data studies flag rows like this by name. We would rather show the hole than paper over it.
The Swedish page carries the sample rows and the regional split: opticians in Sweden.
Who sells to the chair, and who sells to the shelf
Two buyers hide in one shop. Know which one you are before you write.
An optical shop spends on two sides: the test room, and the shop floor.
- The chair: eye-test kit — autorefractors, scanners, exam chairs, clinical software.
- The shelf: frames, lenses, cleaning stock, display stands.
- The counter: booking tools, a till, the website.
An equipment supplier writes about the clinical side. A frame brand writes about the retail side.
The same shop, the same email, two different pitches. Pick one and the message stays sharp.
Stockholm holds the density: 118 of the Swedish shops, and 85 of them carry an email. Start a Swedish run there.
A supplier cadence for a shop that answers
Written for a frame or equipment supplier reaching optical shops. This trade buys stock by email and staffs the desk, so a mid-morning call fits — unlike a solo clinic. Run it in your own tool — we build the list and send nothing.
-
Subject trade terms for [shop name]
Hi. I found [shop name] on Google Maps — [one detail, like your frame range].
I supply [frames or equipment] to optical shops in [region]. Trade terms on request.
Want the price list? Reply yes. Not for you? Reply stop and I will not write again.
A shop reads trade mail as part of the job. Buying stock by email is already how this counter works.
-
Call mid-morning, after opening and before the lunch rush. The desk is staffed all day.
Ask one thing: who chooses your [frames or kit], and when do they buy?
A shop runs to a buying cycle. Get the month, and time the next note to it.
This is a staffed retail trade, so the phone works — unlike a solo clinic. The desk can name the buyer in one call.
-
Subject the price list you asked about
As promised: the full list, trade prices included: [link].
The two lines worth checking against your current supplier are [item] and [item].
If it is not for you, reply stop and I will close the file.
A retailer decides on margin. Trade prices in writing let them compare against their shelf in a minute.
-
Subject last one from me
I will close your file today and stop writing.
If a supplier lets you down, my number is below. Good luck with the season.
Shops switch suppliers on a bad delivery, not a good pitch. The breakup leaves your number where they will look for it.
- It exports the whole result Every row the filter matched, not the page you happen to be looking at.
- CSV or XLSX Tab-separated UTF-8, or typed Excel columns. One file per job.
- 34 groups, 64 columns The same 64 on every plan. Nothing is held back for a higher tier.
- Three presets Contact only, full record, or the outreach set. Or tick your own.
- The cost, before you commit One credit per place, once per 30 days. Re-downloading is free.
Questions about optometrist lists
What is the difference between an optometrist and an optician?
An optometrist tests eyes and writes the prescription. A dispensing optician fits and sells the glasses.
In most Nordic shops both work under one roof and share one listing. So the same file reaches both.
Does your Swedish optician page cover optometrists?
Yes. The Swedish optician list holds the shops where optometrists work, since the map files them as opticians.
You are not missing a separate optometrist file. The optometrist sits inside the optician row.
Do you cover optometrists outside Sweden?
The rows are there. Norway holds 271 optician shops and Denmark 229, both under our 300-record floor, so neither has a page yet.
Finland holds 226 shops, but the email column reads near zero — a hole in our crawl, not a fact about Finland. All three stay searchable in the app.
Why do so many optical shops carry an email?
Because they are retailers that want to be found. In Sweden 57% carry an email, against half-empty files in solo trades.
A staffed counter, shop hours and a booking page all point the same way. This is a trade built to be contacted.
Who buys an optometrist list?
Frame brands, lens labs, eye-test equipment makers, and booking or till software vendors.
Split the shop first. Sell equipment to the test room, or frames to the shop floor — two pitches, one address.
Why does the Finnish file show no emails?
Because our Finnish optician crawl missed the email column, so it reads near zero. That is our gap, not a truth about the shops.
Our data studies name rows like this rather than hide them. Use the Swedish file until the Finnish crawl deepens.
