UpLead · compared

UpLead sells 170 careful contacts. We sell the whole trade.

UpLead prices each corporate contact and stands behind it with an accuracy pledge. A local list is a different job. You need every roofer in the region, not one checked name.

What UpLead does well

UpLead sells certainty about a contact, one credit at a time. For corporate prospecting, that is a fair trade.

UpLead says its file holds 200 million leads. It checks each email in real time as you search. It backs that with a 95% accuracy pledge, printed on its own homepage.

One credit unlocks one contact for download or CRM export. The credit covers the work email and the mobile number together. That is a cleaner deal than tools that bill the phone at ten times the email.

The wrapper is good too. There is a Chrome extension, CRM ties on every paid plan, and technographics on the Plus plan. Buying intent data sits on the Professional plan.

What the plans held on the day we checked

Their pricing page is public, so we can quote it. Read on 27 July 2026, it showed a 7-day trial with 5 credits.

Essentials cost $99 a month for 170 credits and one seat. Extra credits cost $0.60 each on that plan.

Plus cost $199 a month for 400 credits. Paid yearly, the two drop to $74 and $149 a month, with the credits granted per year.

The Professional plan has no listed price. It bills yearly only, and the credits get scoped per deal.

The pot is the problem

Look at the entry plan again. It buys 170 contacts a month.

That is the right size for a rep who works a short list of named accounts. Each name matters, so each name is worth paying for.

A trade list does not work like that. Open Google Maps, search one trade in one city, and count the pins. Then ask how far 170 credits gets you.

UpLead prices certainty about one contact. We price bulk on a public record. Neither price is wrong. They answer different questions.

Our Starter plan costs $49 a month and carries 10,000 lead credits. Every row lands with all 64 columns, phone included. The file is the product, not the reveal.

And the pot is not the only gap

UpLead unlocks people at companies. The record needs a firm with a web footprint and a person to name.

A one-van electrician in Stavanger gives it nothing to hold. No staff page, no domain, often no site at all. What exists is a Maps listing with a phone number on it.

That listing is where our index starts. We crawl the pin, so the shop with no website is a normal row for us, not a gap.

The coverage test — five credits will tell you

UpLead hands you a 7-day trial with 5 credits. That is enough to settle this page one way or the other.

  1. Pick one trade and one town you know. Roofers in Trondheim. Salons in Aalborg. Somewhere you can judge by eye.
  2. Search it in UpLead. Filter to the country, the industry, then firms under ten staff.
  3. Count the rows that are the shop itself. Not a chain office. The place with a door and a van outside.
  4. Spend one credit and read the record. Ask if the number would reach the owner or a desk somewhere else.
  5. Open Maps and count the pins for the same trade. The gap between the counts is what this page is about.

If UpLead shows you the town in full, buy UpLead. It is a good product and the pledge on the data is real.

If the map shows far more than the tool, run the same test here. Our trial gives 14 days and 100 leads, no card. Export the town and ring five numbers.

When to run both

One tool for the short list of names that matter. One tool for the long list of shops that exist.

Keep UpLead when each contact carries real deal value. Checked emails and a mobile in one credit is a fine deal for account work.

Use us when the list is a trade times a region. The owner is the buyer, the shop line is the number, and volume is the point.

  • Twenty named accounts, worked one by one — UpLead
  • Every dentist in Denmark, exported before lunch — us
  • A checked email for a marketing director — UpLead
  • Every salon in Sweden with no website — us
  • Any list where the pot of 170 runs out in week one — us

The handoff between the two is a CSV. Our export loads into any CRM or sender that reads a file, and so does theirs.

Neither of us sends your email. UpLead is a database, and so are we. Budget for a sending tool either way.

What people ask before they switch

Should I cancel UpLead?

Not if your team works named corporate accounts. The per-contact pledge earns its price on that work, and we hold no file of people at all.

Split the job instead. Send the account work through UpLead and the trade lists through us.

Which is cheaper?

For one careful contact, UpLead. For a whole trade, us, and it is not close.

On the day we checked, their entry plan gave 170 credits for $99, with extra credits at $0.60. Ours gives 10,000 lead credits for $49, phone number included in the row.

Do you verify emails the way UpLead does?

No, and we will not claim to. UpLead checks a contact in real time and pledges 95% accuracy. That is their product.

Our row is what the business published on its own listing, with a first-seen and last-seen date on it. You can see the age of every row before you use it.

Do you have intent data or technographics?

No. We carry no intent signals and no software-stack fields. UpLead wins both rows in the table above.

What we carry instead is the shop as it shows itself: address, phone, email, website, rating, review count, opening hours and 57 more columns.

What do I get for $49 a month?

Starter holds 10,000 lead credits, one seat, and CSV or XLSX exports with all 64 columns. Every country, filter and category sits on that plan.

The trial before it runs 14 days with 100 leads and no card. See what each plan holds.

Can I load your file into my CRM?

Yes. The export is CSV or XLSX with fixed headers, so anything that reads a file reads it.

We keep no native CRM plug-ins, so treat it as a clean file import. Your exports also stay yours if you cancel.
