Doctor email list
In the Nordics a doctor is almost always a public-system doctor. The pin on the map is a health centre, and reception guards it. That one fact decides who you can reach.
Covers Norway, Sweden, Denmark and FinlandDoctors are not a tracked category, so no live countReception-first advice, said out loud
Who the pin really points to
Start with the map, because the map lies a little about this trade.
A doctor pin on Google Maps looks like a person. It seldom is. In the Nordics it is a health centre, a group practice, or a public clinic with many doctors inside.
The address on the row is the building. The phone is the booking line. The email, where one exists, is the clinic inbox. None of it reaches one named doctor.
That is not a flaw in the data. It is how care works here. The public system assigns each patient a GP. Search plays no part.
- Norway runs the fastlege scheme. Every resident has a named GP inside a public list.
- Sweden works through the vårdcentral, the local health centre.
- Denmark and Finland run the same shape: a public clinic is the front door.
- A private GP who takes walk-in patients is the exception, not the rule.
So a doctor email list here is a list of clinics. Read it that way and it is useful. Read it as a list of individual physicians and it will disappoint you.
Scope, said first. Our data covers Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland, from our own Google Maps crawl. For a US or global doctor list — the market this keyword often means — a general scraper such as Outscraper fits better. Our comparison is honest about where.
- Pick the trade Type it and take the match. One trade or twenty, on every plan.
- Pick the place Country, county, municipality, city. No plan gates the geography.
- The count moves first The number updates before you spend anything. Looking is free.
- Filter to the ones worth calling Has email, has phone, has a website, has a contact page. Combine them freely.
- Contacts are masked until export You can see a row exists and judge it. The address itself is the product.
- Export what you are looking at The file is exactly this filter set, with nothing dropped in between.
The public wall, and the private door
The buying power in this trade sits in two very different places. Only one of them answers a cold email.
Public health centres do not buy from your inbox. Their spending runs through regional health authorities, framework contracts and tenders. A cold email to a vårdcentral does not reach a budget holder. It reaches a nurse or a receptionist with no power to spend.
The private side is the door that opens. Private clinics, occupational health providers and specialist practices decide their own purchases. The owner or clinic manager can say yes without a tender.
Be honest about the size of that door. Private primary care is thinner in the Nordics than in the US. Most doctors work inside the public system, so the private slice you can sell to is a minority of the trade.
- Public clinics: reachable by post, not by pitch. Sell to them through procurement, not cold email.
- Private clinics and occupational health: the real market for outreach.
- Locum and staffing agencies: they buy names, and they buy them all year.
- Suppliers of equipment, software and consumables: they sell to both, on different terms.
So the first job with a doctor file is a filter, not a send. Cut the public clinics from the private ones before you write a word. The cold email guide covers the message once you have the right half.
Why we publish no doctor count
Our page set tracks 27 trades. General practice is not one of them yet, so this page carries no doctor number.
We publish live counts only where our tracked file backs them. There is no doctor row in that file today, and we will not dress a guess up as one.
What we can give you is the ground the trade stands on.
- Our four countries hold 44,684 local business records in total.
- Email coverage across our tracked trades: Norway 38%, Sweden 19%, Denmark 17%, Finland 16%.
- Pharmacies are the one medical retail trade we do track. Norway holds 259 rows — under our 300-record floor, so no page yet.
The app searches Maps categories beyond our page set, doctors and health centres among them. Pick the category, pick a country, and the count shows before you spend a credit.
A number we could print without checking would be worth nothing. The reason our other pages carry counts is that each one is a live query against our own database. Where we cannot do that, we say so.
A cadence for private clinics, not public ones
Written for someone selling software or services to private practices. The whole plan assumes you already cut the public clinics out. Run it in your own tool — we build the list and send nothing.

Subject a question for [clinic name]
Hi. I found [clinic name] on Google Maps — [one real detail you saw, like their opening hours or reviews].
I work with private clinics on [your offer in one plain line]. It asks nothing of your consulting time to look at.
Worth a short reply? If not, reply stop and I will not write again.
A private clinic inbox is read by the owner or the manager, the two people who can truly buy. The one real detail proves a person looked, not a script.
-
Call over the lunch break, when the consulting rooms empty. Never mid-morning, when the waiting room is full.
Give reception an errand, not a pitch: "I emailed on Monday about [topic] — who handles that here?"
If they name a manager, ask when that person is free from patients. Call back then.
Reception screens sellers all day. Naming your own email turns a cold call into a follow-up, and follow-ups get routed instead of blocked.
-
Subject the short version, with the price
Everything in one place, price included: [link].
Two clinics like yours that use it: [names or link].
If the timing is wrong, reply stop and I will close the file.
A clinic owner decides between patients, in stolen minutes. Hide the price and the decision waits forever, so publish it.
-
Subject closing your file
No reply needed. I will stop writing and close your file today.
If it becomes useful later, my details are below. All the best with the clinic.
The breakup note costs nothing to read and ends the thread with your name intact. In a small profession where people talk, that is worth more than one more push.
- It exports the whole result Every row the filter matched, not the page you happen to be looking at.
- CSV or XLSX Tab-separated UTF-8, or typed Excel columns. One file per job.
- 34 groups, 64 columns The same 64 on every plan. Nothing is held back for a higher tier.
- Three presets Contact only, full record, or the outreach set. Or tick your own.
- The cost, before you commit One credit per place, once per 30 days. Re-downloading is free.
Straight answers about doctor lists
Will the email reach a named doctor?
Almost never. The row is a clinic, and the email is the clinic inbox. In the Nordics most doctors work inside a shared practice, so a personal address is rare.
If you need named inboxes, our guide to finding business email addresses ranks the methods and their failure rates.
Can I sell to public health centres by cold email?
You can write to them, but the budget sits elsewhere. Public clinics buy through regional health authorities and tenders, not through an inbox pitch.
The private clinics are the ones that can say yes on their own. Filter to those before you plan a campaign.
Why is there no doctor count on this page?
Because general practice is not one of the 27 trades our file tracks yet. Every count we publish is a live query, and we will not invent one where we cannot run it.
The app still searches the category. You can pull the rows and see the number for yourself before you buy anything.
Is the private-practice market big in the Nordics?
Smaller than in the US. Most doctors here work inside the public system, so the private slice you can sell to is a minority of the trade.
That is the honest picture. The private clinics are real and reachable, but they are the exception, not the bulk of the file.
Is cold email to a private clinic legal here?
B2B outreach in the EU and EEA usually rests on legitimate interest under the GDPR. You must say who you are, where you got the data, and offer an opt-out in the first message.
National e-marketing rules differ by country. Our GDPR guide walks through it. It is not legal advice.
